Men's Cross Country (Louie Quintana/3rd Year): Team finished 11th at NCAA West Regional and fourth at the Pac-10 Championships...senior captain Aaron Aguayo advanced to the NCAA Championships where he finished ninth overall to earn All-America honors...Aguayo set the record for highest individual finish for an ASU male at the national championships (surpassing the 11th-place showing by Todd Lewis in 1991) and the second best program history behind Lisa Aguilera's fifth-place showing in 2000...regionally, Aguayo took runner-up honors to earn All-Region accolades and earned first-team All-Pac-10 after placing fourth in the race while Kyle Alcorn was a second team selection (10th place)...Aguayo was the top ASU finisher in all six races he ran and posted top-10 finishes in five of the races...Mikias Gelagle placed 23rd at the USA Junior Cross Country Championships...five men earned Academic All-Pac-10 selections, including one first-team honoree, two second-team selections and two honorable mentions.

Men's Track and Field (Greg Kraft, 11th year) - OUTDOOR - Team scored 13 points to place 22nd at the NCAA Championships...Aaron Aguayo finished third in the 3,000m steeplechase at the NCAA Championships to earn All-America honors while Kyle Alcorn placed seventh to also earn All-America honors...Ryan Whiting placed fourth in the shot put to earn his second All-America honor of his rookie season...team placed fifth at the regional meet with one champion (Aguayo ub steeplechase...automatic qualifiers for the NCAAs included Kelvin Love (200m), Matt Turner (long jump) and Whiting (shot put), all of whom placed second, and Jimmie Gordon (400m), who took fourth...Turner's jump of 7.93m (26-00.25) in a strong tail wind made him just the seventh Sun Devil to record a mark of 26-feet or longer...at the conference meet, ASU scored 111 points, finishing just three points behind Oregon for the title...Aguayo made Pac-10 history by winning his fourth steeplechase crown, making him only the 11th athlete (male and female) to accomplish the feat...he joined Steve Prefontaine (Oregon) as the only two men to sweep the same distance race (1,500m or longer) all four years...Turner captured the long jump title for his first Pac-10 title and scored in two other jumping events with a runner-up finish in the high jump and a sixth-place showing in the triple jump...Love was the conference runner-up in both the 100m and 200m dash while Andrew Smith (javelin) also took second place...two school records were reset during the season as Aguayo clocked a time of 8:32.40 to place third at the NCAA meet and also ran 13:37.71 in the 5,000m run during the year to better his record...he later lowered that time to 8:27.01 while placing second at the USA Championships where he earned a berth into the IAAF World Championships...in all, 16 other marks recorded ranked among the Top 10 in ASU history...Aguayo clocked the second-fastest mile in school history at 4:00.14 while Whiting moved to second in the shot put with a toss of 20.35m (66-09.25)...javelin specialists Smith and Brad Roth moved to third and fifth, respectively, as both surpassed 229-feet in competition...academically, 10 men earned honors from the Pac-10...three earned national academic honors from the USTFCCCA. INDOOR - The team scored nine points and placed 25th at the NCAA Championships...Aguayo earned All-America honors in the 3,000m run, placing 10th...also earning All-America honors were Whiting (shot put), Joshua Kinnaman (heptathlon) and Turner (long jump)...ASU scored 79 points and claimed two individual titles to finish in fifth place at the MPSF Championships...Domenik Peterson claimed the 400m dash title in 47.59 while Whiting claimed the shot put with his toss of 19.71m (64-08.00)...one school record was broken as Whiting's toss of 20.01m placed him third at the NCAA Championships...Aguayo and Alcorn ran 7:56.37 and 7:58.82, respectively, in the 3,000m run to become just the second and third men to break eight minutes indoors.

Volleyball (Brad Saindon/4th year): ASU finished the 2007 season with a 16-15 record, doubling their win total from 2006 and tied for sixth in the Pac-10 with a 7-11 mark...made return to the NCAA Tournament after a three-year absence, defeating College of Charleston in the opening round before falling to Florida at the Gainesville Regional...fourth-year head coach Brad Saindon took the team to the NCAA Tournament with just three seniors...junior libero Sydney Donahue continued her assault on the ASU record books, becoming the school's all-time leader in digs in only her third year. She set a new Pac-10 single-season record with 742 digs, shattering the old mark of 708 set by Chrissie Zartman of UCLA in 2004...Donahue became the first Sun Devil to lead the Pac-10 in digs since Jami Coughlin in 2000 and also established a new NCAA record by digging 50 balls in a three-game match against Loyola Marymount...Donahue and senior Nicole Morton both earned All-Pac-10 honorable mention, while redshirt freshman Marina Mercer was named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman Team...seven Sun Devils earned Academic All-Pac-10 honors, including first-team members Colette Meek and Marina Mercer...swept the season series from Arizona for the first time since 1995, including their first win in Tucson since 1999...ASU won both the Hilton Phoenix/East Mesa Sun Devil Classic and the Tempe Courtyard by Marriott Classic...seven Pac-10 schools made the NCAA Tournament (Stanford, Washington, California, USC, UCLA and Oregon) with three advancing to the Final Four...Nebraska's National Championship ended the Pac-10's five-year streak.

Water Polo (Todd Clapper/2nd Year): Team posted a 14-14 overall record and ended the season ranked No. 11 nationally...went 5-7 in MPSF play to earn the No. 8 seed in the tournament played in Tempe...finished 10th in the tournament with a 1-2 record...posted an 8-5 record in home games...scored home upsets over then-No. 6 San Jose State (11-10), then-No. 5 San Diego State (8-7) and then-No. 7 UC Irvine (11-7)...the upset of UCI helped ASU sweep its weekend of MPSF foes (W 16-14 over No. 14 Long Beach State as well) for the first time since joining the league...part of the 8-5 home record included a sweep of the ASU Invitational to give the Sun Devils their first tournament victory in program history...Addison Doud led the team on offense with team-highs in points (88) and goals (54) while ranking second in assists (34)...her season totals ranked among the Top 10 in school history, including first in season points and second in both goals and assists...for her career, she is ranked third in goals (93), fourth in points (136) and fifth in assists (43)...finished the year ranked 10th on the MPSF scoring charts with a 1.93 goals per game average...for her efforts, Doud was named Honorable Mention All-American as well as Honorable Mention All-MPSF...senior Ashley Bower also turned in a strong offensive season as she netted 34 goals, a team-high and single-season record 46 assists and 80 points...Katie Hedley was second in goals scored with 39 to bring her career total to 134, the most in ASU history...she finished her career ranked second in points (187) and third in assists (53)...rookie Amanda Stepp, who was named to the MPSF All-Freshman Team, was fourth in goals scored with 31 and added 27 assists, ranking seventh and second, respectively, on the all-time freshman lists...her 58 points ranked 10th in a single season and second on the freshman charts as well...defensively, Caylinn Wallace stopped a single-season record 263 shots and recorded a season-record 10.52 saves per contest...for her career, Wallace moved into first on the all-time saves list with 741...Wallace ended the year second in the league with her saves per game average...over the summer, Doud and Clapper each participated with Team USA...Doud was named an alternate for the U.S. Junior National Team while Clapper served as the head coach of the Youth National Team for the second year in a row...academically, a program-record 11 athletes earned AWPCA All-Academic honors while seven were named to the Academic All-MPSF squad.

Wrestling (Thom Ortiz, 6th year): Team finished 8-11 overall and 5-2 in Pac-10 duals...placed fifth (76.5 points) as a team at the Pac-10 Championships and tied for 34th (12.5 points) at the NCAA Championships...the team picked up a pair of milestone wins as its 31-16 defeat of Liberty at the Virginia Duals was the 450th in the history of the program while its 26-18 defeat of Cal Poly was the 200th home victory in ASU history...three Sun Devils won individual crowns at the meet, including Brian Stith (157), Patrick Pitsch (165) and Greg Gifford (184)...Pitsch successfully defended his title while Stith won his second crown in three years...Gifford won his first conference crown after transferring in from Fresno State...ASU's streak of consecutive years with at least one All-American was snapped at 31 after Stith and Pitsch both fell one win short...joining the trio at the NCAA Championships as Jason Trulson (197), who placed third at the Pac-10 event...John Espinoza (125) also qualified for the national tournament as a wild card, but did not compete because of an injury...Stith became the 22nd Sun Devil to record 100 wins in a career as he pinned Beau Fisher of Virginia in 1:18 at the Virginia Duals (January 12)...Stith ended the year with a 26-4 record and won 18 in a row before falling twice at the NCAA meet ...he concluded his career with a 114-33 record, ranking tied for 12th on the all-time ASU lists for career wins while his 55-16 dual meet record ties him for eighth on the all-time dual victory list...Stith was selected for the NWCA All-Star Classic where he fell, 2-1, to Travis Paulson (Iowa State)...his entry into the meet marked the first time since Steve Blackford in 2000 that ASU was represented in the prestigious meet...Trulson turned in a solid season as he went 24-15 in his first campaign as a starter at 197 pounds and advanced to his first NCAA event...he also recorded the fastest fall on the team, pinning Liberty's Josh Moore in 15 seconds...four Sun Devils earned Academic All-Pac-10 honors, including one first team selection and three honorable mentions.
