High School: A 2002 graduate of Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix)...named the 2002 Arizona Track and Field Gatorade Athlete of the Year...earned six Class 2A state titles...set 2A records for the state meet in the 800m, 1,600m and 3,200m runs while also running the anchor leg of the winning 4x800m relay in 2002 after taking crowns in 2001 in the 1,600m and 3,200m with a runner-up finish in the 800m...won the 2002 Great Southwest Classic 3,200m run...3,000m runner-up at the 2002 Stanford Invitational.
