ASU: Had a chance to play with the USA Volleyball Junior National Team over the summer of 2005 at the team tryouts leading up to the World Junior National Championships... is a dynamic player who plays above the net and will add versatility to the setter position... great on-court leader... has great volleyball instincts... a standout in the classroom as well being named a National Merit Scholar.
2006 (Junior): Was named to the All Pac-10 All-Academic Second Team...saw action in 18 matches, including seven starts...had 21 assists and 10 digs against Duke (9/15), 15 assists and four digs against Butler (9/16), nine assists against #4 USC 10/6), and nine assists and five digs against #21 Ohio State (9/9).
2005 (Sophomore): Saw action in 26 matches, including four starts...had 52 assists against Texas State in the Wyndham Buttes Sun Devil Volleyball Classic (9/10)...had 25 assists, 12 digs and six blocks at Washington State (10/1)...had eleven double-digit assist matches.
2004 (Freshman): Started 25 of ASU's 27 matches as a freshman... named honorable mention All-Pac-10 Freshman... took over sole setting duties with the season-ending knee injury to Giovana Melo... ranked ninth in the Pac-10 averaging 10.59 assists per game... averaged 11.08 assists in Pac-10 play... ranked second among Pac-10 freshman in assists per game behind Stanford's Bryn Kehoe... also ranked third on the team averaging 0.86 blocks per game and sixth with 1.75 digs per game... recorded season-high 66 assists in five-game win over Washington State (10/16)... the 66 assists are tied for the 17th most in ASU single-match history... also had 12 digs for her first career double-double against the Cougars... second double-double came with 65 assists and career-high 15 digs against Oregon State (11/4)... named to the all-tournament team in the Wyndham Buttes/Sun Devil Classic (9/10-12)... recorded 59 assists, five blocks and five digs in 3-1 win over Tulane (9/12)... has three or more blocks in 13 matches this season... recorded 44 assists and career high 8.0 blocks vs. Long Beach State (9/17)... recorded 40 or more assists in in eight matches... Arizona Republic Phoenix Area Player of the Year (2003) and earned all-state honors as a junior and senior at Xavier College Prep.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Xavier College Prep in Phoenix... earned four varsity letters at Xavier... played under head coach Tim McHale for three years and current ASU assistant Terri Spann as a freshman in 2000... helped lead Xavier to Arizona state championships in 2000 (37-1) and 2002 and Desert Valley Region Championships in 2000-02... captained the volleyball squad during her senior year... earned Desert Valley Regional honorable mention honors as a sophomore... named the Desert Valley Region Player of the Year as a junior and senior... also named first-team All-State in 2002 and 2003 and was named the Phoenix Area Player of the Year as a senior... named to the all-tournament team at the Westwood Tournament in 2003... helped her club team, Arizona Juniors, qualify for the Junior Olympics in 2004... coached by Spann in the summer of 2004 on the Arizona Juniors... played for the Arizona Juniors for seven years (1998-2004).
