2008-09

• Was one of six Sun Devils who played in all 35 games in 2008-09.

• Earned first-team Pac-10 All-Academic recognition for the second consecutive year.

• Was inserted into the starting lineup after junior guard Dymond Simon was lost for the season with a knee injury.

• Connected on 67 percent of her shots in the first two games before suffering a hand injury in the season's third game against Oklahoma (Nov. 21), which affected her ability on the offensive end for several games.

• Scored a career-best 13 points on 5-6 FGs in second round WNIT win over Tulane (Nov. 16).

• Added a career-best five assists vs. Hofstra (Nov. 28).

• Made the first start of her career in place of Dymond Simon (sprained foot) vs. Xavier (Dec. 21) and tallied three points, four assists and three rebounds.

• Secured a season-high six rebounds in win at Oregon State (Jan. 8).

• Scored five points and had three steals and two assists in win at Arizona (Feb. 24).

• Made all four of her field goal attempts and scored nine points in ASU's win vs. Washington (Feb. 26).

• Connected on 78 percent of her shots (7-9) in ASU's wins over Washington (Feb. 26) and Washington State (Feb. 28).

• Had a phenomenal outing in ASU's second round NCAA Tournament win over Florida State in which she made 4-7 FGs, including both 3-pointers she attempted, and scored 12 points (one point short of tying career best in scoring).

2007-08

• A member of the 2008 Pac-10 All-Academic First Team, Engelbrecht earned the team's Academic Award for the third consecutive year.

• Was selected by the ASU Kinesiology Department as the recipient of the Rudy L Lavik Memorial Award for the Outstanding Junior in Kinesiology for 2008.

• Fractured her left hand on the first official day of practice in October and as a result missed ASU's first two games and played with a splint on the hand for her first five games back.

• Connected on 53 percent of her field goal attempts (10-19) during one seven-game stretch.

• Scored a season-best eight points in win over Fresno State (Dec. 17).

• Scored four points and grabbed a career-best seven rebounds in win at Washington State (Jan. 26).

• Made all three of her field goal attempts (seven points), dished out two assists and had three steals in win vs. Arizona (Feb. 8).

2006-07

• Was one of three Sun Devils - Aubree Johnson and Kirsten Thompson - who shot higher than 50 percent (55.7).

• Continued to be a steady ball handler, tallying 46 assists to only 19 turnovers.

• Earned Pac-10 Second-Team All-Academic honors.

• Connected on 60 percent of her shots in the Pac-10 and NCAA Tournaments (seven games).

• Scored seven points (3-4 FGs), grabbed four rebounds and had two steals while logging a career-high 27 minutes in ASU's 67-49 Sweet Sixteen win over Bowling Green (Mar. 24).

• Recorded career bests in points (11), field goals (5) and steals (3) in ASU's 75-64 win at Washington (Feb. 1).

• Grabbed a career-best six rebounds in ASU's 91-46 win over Nicholls State (Nov. 15).

2005-06

• Played in 28 games and averaged 5.9 minutes per game.

• Was a co-winner (along with Aubree Johnson) of the team's Academic Award.

• Made 65 percent of the shots she took (17-26).

• Made all five of her shots and had a career-high 11 points vs. Memphis (Dec. 2).

• Made all five of her shots and scored 10 points at Arizona (Dec. 22).

• Made all seven of the shots she took at Arizona's McKale Center (vs. Arizona + 2 NCAA Tournament games).

High School

• A 2005 graduate of Catalina Foothills High School in Tucson, Ariz.

• Was the 2005 Southern Arizona Player of the Year, the Kino Region Player of the Year, and earned first-team all-state honors by the Arizona Republic in 2005.

• Led her team to four straight Kino Region titles and four appearances in the Arizona state high school championships, while averaging 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and four steals per game as a senior.

• Shot 53 percent from the field, 44 percent from three-point land.

• Named her team's Most Valuable Player four times after leading the squad in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, blocks and shooting percentage each season. Also named her team's Most Inspirational Player her senior year.

• Won the 2004 4A Grand Canyon State Three-Point Shootout at America West Arena.

• Played club basketball for the Arizona Lady Stars, leading the team in scoring and assists.

• Was a starting opposite hitter in volleyball, helping the Falcons to an appearance in the 2003 state semifinals.

• Earned the AIA Scholar-Athlete Award four times in basketball and three times in volleyball.

• Lettered four times in basketball and twice in volleyball.

• Coached by Laura Siemons at Catalina Foothills.

• Earned her B.S. degree in kinesiology in May 2009.

• The daughter of Gary (tennis professional) and Lacy Engelbrecht (administrative secretary).

• Her father, Gary, played tennis at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

• Has an older brother, Joe (25).
