Scholar-Athletes of the Year

Being named an Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year is the pinnacle of student-athlete excellence. It's where elite performance meets relentless drive. It’s not just about winning games or acing exams, it’s about mastering both. This honor is earned by those who outwork, outsmart, and outlast. They are true Sun Devils who set the standard and raise the bar.

To qualify for the Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, student-athletes must be juniors or seniors, maintain a 3.20+ GPA, compete in at least 20% of their team’s events, and have at least one year at their school. Each school nominates one athlete per sport, and winners are chosen by opposing coaches based on both academic and athletic excellence.
