Arizona State: Rebounded from injuries to earn the starting job at 149... 2005-06: Went 19-15 overall on the season with a 9-8 record in duals...opened the year 3-0 with first collegiate win coming in a 17-0 technical fall...finished fifth at the Las Vegas Invitational...took sixth in the Pac-10 tournament...almost half his victories came by major or better... 2004-05: Did not compete because of an injury... 2003-04: Redshirted...went 6-1 as an unattached competitor at the All-Cal Open to place third at 149.

High School: A graduate of Poway High School in Poway, Calif....was an all-CIF, all-Palomar League and all-North County selection four times each...earned All-America honors twice and earned most outstanding tournament performances 20 times in his prep career...built a 176-29 career record...advanced to the finals of the Reno Tournament of Champions and state tournament...placed sixth at high school nationals...won the Five Counties Invitational twice, including going 5-0 in one tournament with five pins...holds school records in a career for pins (101), wins (176), tournament placements (33 times), state placements (three) and most matches (205)...lettered in wrestling four times and captained the team his final two years...teammate of current Sun Devil wrestler Todd Schavrien.
