ASU Career: Intelligent, resilient student athlete whose ASU career was cut short early in his senior season due to injury...started every game in which he played as a Sun Devil (37), the most career starts of any player on the 2006 roster...started 29 consecutive games to begin his career...earned Pac-10 All-Academic honors all four years he played, including Second-Team recognition in 2005 and 2006...a leader in the classroom, on the field and in the weight room, he is one of only 11 Sun Devils to have three times earned Hard Hat Player honors for his work in ASU's strength and conditioning program...earned Pac-10 All-Freshman and Freshman All-America honors in 2003, Second-Team All-Pac-10 recognition in 2004 and Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 accolades in 2005...earned his degree (B.S., Construction) following the Fall, 2006 semester.

2005: Started nine games at right tackle...eanred honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors...earned second-team Pac-10 All-Academic honors, sporting a 3.42 grade point average...was presented with the Outstanding Offensive Lineman of the Year Award...named to ESPN.com's All Mayday Team, selected by College Football Hall of Fame member Mark May, which honored players who demonstrated exemplary toughness throughout the season...contributed to an offense that finished first in the Pac-10 and third in the nation in passing yards per game (373.4 avg.), second in the Pac-10 and third in the nation in total offense (519.1 avg.) and third in the Pac-10 and seventh in the nation in scoring offense (36.8 avg.)...was a key factor in helping ASU to its highest rushing yards-per-game average since 2001 (145.7 avg.)...was recognized as a Hard Hat Player for his work in ASU's winter strength and conditioning program (top five) for the second consecutive season.

2004: Started all 12 games at right tackle...earned second-team All-Pac-10 honors...was also named to the honorable-mention Pac-10 All-Academic team...shared the team's Clyde B. Smith Academic Award with Jason Burke...contributed to a passing offense that led the Pac-10 and ranked fifth in the nation at 317.3 yards per game.

2003: Started all 12 games on the offensive line as a redshirt freshman...anchored an offensive line that ranked third in the Pac-10 in sacks allowed (24)...was named to the Sporting News Pac-10 All-Freshman Team...earned Freshman All-America honors from Rivals.com...was an honorable-mention Pac-10 All-Academic selection.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Hereford (Texas) High School...earned first-team All-District 3-4A on offense as a senior...received votes for the District Most Valuable Player, missing out on the award by one vote, even as an offensive lineman...named to the Amarillo Globe News' "Super Team"...named to the Lubbock Avalanche Journal's "All South Plains Team"...starter on the basketball team...great student who ranked No. 10 out of 270 students...sports a 3.92 grade-point average...member of National Honor Society and listed in "Who's Who Among American High School Students"...won first-place honors in the state woodworking tournament during sophomore and junior years...played for coach Craig Yenzer at Hereford HS.
