Zoe Mazur

Named as an assistant coach on August 21, 2024 after being a student-athlete in the program for four years. Mazur posted a standout senior season in 2024 breaking various program and Pac-12 records as a draw specialist and defender. Her accolades include 167 draw controls in a single season, 330 career draw controls, and a career-high 19 draw controls in a single game; all program and Pac-12 records.  These stats are not to be outdone by the fact that Mazur was a two-time Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week, named to the Pac-12 All-Tournament Team, and was the only Pac-12 All-Conference First Team honoree for the Sun Devils in 2024. Van Thof, excited to bring Mazur aboard as her second student-athlete-turned-coach said, "As a student-athlete she was an elite competitor who rewrote record books. As a coach she will have an immediate impact on our Draw Control Unit, taking them to new heights!"
