TEMPE– Arizona State lacrosse (3-4) is back at home in Tempe, fresh off of their road trip south to Music City, to take on the Liberty Flames (3-4) on Wednesday, March 13 at 11 a.m. MST. The game can be viewed via the Arizona State Live Stream-2 here, and fans can purchase tickets using this link

The Sun Devils will be honoring Morgan's Message, which is a 501(c)(3) that strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics.

Wednesday marks the third time that the two programs have met, with the Flames coming out victorious in both meetings– their most recent win coming on April 12, 2019 in Lynchburg, Virginia. In each game Liberty had scored double-digit goals and held Arizona State to seven goals or less.

Sun Devil Outlook:
The Sun Devils took it down to the wire against Vanderbilt on Sunday, but ultimately fell 13-11 and dropped their fourth-straight game after starting the season 3-0. In the loss, sophomore attacker Lydia Oldknow recorded her fourth hat trick of the season and surpassed her 2023 goal total, which was 17. Oldknow has 18 goals in seven games this season.

Scouting the Opponent:
The Liberty Flames own the same 3-4 record as the Sun Devils having won their last two games against San Diego State and Pittsburgh, putting up 20 goals in each win. The Flames will play in their third road game of the season and second straight after playing in San Diego on Monday. The week is a short week for both teams, as Liberty is two days removed from a game and the Sun Devils are three games removed from play.

Sun Devil Notables:
  • Sophomore attacker Lydia Oldknow's four hat tricks are tied with senior attacker Mina Scott for the team high.
  • After going a perfect 12-for-12 in clears against Vanderbilt, ASU owns the second-best clearing percentage in the NCAA of 96.8% trailing only Florida's 98.2%.
  • ASU's 10.57 turnovers per game are the fewest in the NCAA.
  • Graduate defender Zoe Mazur's eight draw controls per game are the 11th-best mark in the NCAA, and third best in the Pac-12.
