TEMPE– Sun Devil Lacrosse (7-4) looks to snap a two-game skid against Cincinnati (7-5) in the first-ever Big 12 Conference game for the program on Saturday, March 29. First draw is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. AZT and can be viewed on ESPN+.

The Sun Devils have a chance to stay undefeated at home, as the team has compiled a program-best 5-0 start at home this season. A trio of players on ASU have the chance to hit some career numbers, as attackers Lydia Oldknow and Teagan Ng could hit 100 career goals against the Bearcats- Oldknow needing two, and Ng needing five. Junior attacker Jordyn Behar needs just two assists to set the program's single-season assist record.

Tuesday will be the first meeting all-time between the two programs, as the Sun Devils and Cincinnati are both members of the inaugural Big 12 women's lacrosse season.

Sun Devil Outlook:
The Sun Devils reached a program-best five games over .500, but losses in their last two games have the team at 7-4.  ASU is winless on the road in their last four contests.

ASU has a pair of Devils in the NCAA leaderboards, as Jordyn Behar's 41 assists are the second most in the NCAA, and Anna Viglione's 120 draw controls have her sitting atop the leaderboard at #1.  Because of Viglione's dominance, ASU has the second most draw controls per game in the NCAA, averaging over 18 per game.

Scouting the Opponent:
The Bearcats own a 7-5 record through 12 games. The team posts a 3-3 record on the road this season, losing two of their last three road games. Saturday marks the Big 12 opener for both teams.

Against similar opponents, UC lost to both Vanderbilt (8-13) and Marquette (9-15), while the Sun Devils split these games, securing a win over Vanderbilt.

Cincinnati's Paige Selhorn is behind Jordyn Behar on the NCAA leaderboard with 37 assists. Lauren Ottensmeyer is top three in goals in the NCAA with 47.

Sun Devil Notables:
  • With a win on Saturday, ASU would be 6-0 at home for the first time in program history.
  • Junior attacker Lydia Oldknow extended her point-scoring streak to 30 games, dating back to the 2024 season opener, after three goals against Marquette.
  • Junior attacker Jordyn Behar is two assists shy of setting the single-season assist record. She has 41 right now.
  • Junior attacker Lydia Oldknow is two goals away from reaching the 100 mark in her career after recording three against Marquette.
  • With 11 saves against Marquette on Tuesday, goalie Katie Vahle claimed the program's all-time saves record (previously 576).
  • Junior attacker Teagan Ng needs just five goals to hit the 100 mark in her career.  She had 5 against Marquette.
  • Sophomore midfielder Anna Viglione is 47 draw controls away from tying Zoe Mazur's single-season record.
