Track and Field announces full 2026 schedule
Arizona State will compete in six indoor events and nine outdoor events
TEMPE – Sun Devil Track and Field has officially announced its full 2026 indoor and outdoor schedules on Wednesday afternoon. Arizona State is set for year two in the Big 12 conference with 15 combined meets on the horizon.
The 2026 campaign will be year seven for head coach Dion Miller, with the Sun Devils set to kick things off at the NAU Axe Em’ open on January 9th in Flagstaff, AZ.
The indoor season will roll on with three more regular season meets, before beginning the postseason with the Big 12 Championships in Lubbock, TX from Feb. 27-28. The conclusion of the indoor events will end with the NCAA championships in Fayetteville, AR from March 13-14.
The outdoor season will follow suit with its opener at the Willie Williams Invitational hosted by the University of Arizona from Mar. 27-28 in Tucson, AZ. There will be four postseason meets that ASU is penciled in for, beginning with the Big 12 Championships in Tucson beginning on May 14.

The Sun Devils will be headlined by First-Team All-American Jayden Davis, primed for a huge junior year. Davis had yet another fantastic season as a sophomore for the Sun Devils in 2024-25, as he earned First-Team All-American honors in the men's 4x400 relay, placing third overall. Davis also earned First-Team All-American honors in the men's 400m, placing sixth overall.
Among the returners, Ines Lopez will be a force to be reckoned with after a strong showing at the NCAA championships. Lopez had a stellar second season as Sun Devil in 2024-25, as she notched her first All-American honor in the outdoor season, as well as setting a new personal best at the Big 12 Championships to move her to No. 7 in the record books.
The 2026 squad will feature 27 newcomers, with the women’s team bringing on 11 new members in addition to 16 on the men’s side
