As an assistant with the Sun Devils primarily working with sprints, hurdles and relays, the Sun Devils have made consistent and major strides in Hatchett's tenure. In March 2024, the Sun Devil Men brought home the school's first Indoor relay national championship title, as Justin Robinson, Kaleb Simpson, Gamali Felix and Jayden Davis captured the 4x400 at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships at 3:02.35. Later in the 2024 campaign, the Sun Devil Men would go on to win at the Pac-12 Championships (Davis-Simpson-Nicholas Ramey-Felix/3:01.79) and place fourth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (Davis-Robinson-Simpson-Felix/3:00.87).
The Sun Devil Women had a pair of 4x100 relays set top-five program records, as Ashantai Bollers-Adriana Tatum-Naiya Morgan-Jazmine Hobson teamed up to go 43.94 (4th all-time) at the 2024 NCAA West Regional Preliminaries. Weeks prior at the Pac-12 Championships, Bollers-Tatum-Morgan-Lauren Brown ran a 44.04 (5th all-time).
The 2023 campaign was historic for the Sun Devils, as the Men placed fifth nationally at the Outdoor championships. Across four days in Austin, Texas, the Sun Devils celebrated Turner Washington earning his fifth NCAA title, Sevanna Hanson becoming the second women's outdoor pole vaulter in ASU history to finish as an All-American, program records in the Men's 4x100 and 4x400 relays, the 4x4 nearly breaking the NCAA record, and 10 total All-America honors - with eight of those being first team All-Americans. It's the most All-America honors the Maroon and Gold have collected in one meet since the 2012 season (12). The men's fifth place finish (41 points) is their best since 2010 (fourth, 79 points); the women finished 43rd with five points.
Under Hatchett, the Sun Devils are consistently ranked as having some of the top sprint groups in the nation, as they've seen program cornerstones like Justin Robinson and Adriana Tatum carve out their own legacies in Tempe.

Prior to joining the Sun Devils, Hatchett worked with many All-Americans and ACC champions during her time with Miami, with world gold medalist and 2019 U.S. 400-meter champion Shakima Wimbley standing out above the crop.
Under director of track and field Amy Deem and Hatchett's guidance, Wimbley's 2017 senior campaign included five ACC titles, three first-team All-America honors and an NCAA title in the indoor 400-meter dash.
In 2019, the Miami women's sprinters scored 51 of the Hurricanes' 92.5 points at the ACC Outdoor Championships, and two women earned first-team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships to help the Canes take 20th overall in the final standings.
Hatchett joined the Canes after spending six of the past eight years at Florida State. From 2005-09, Hatchett was a hurdler on the FSU track and field team. The following school year she was a student coach and manager for the Seminoles. Hatchett rejoined the Seminoles in 2012-13 as a volunteer coach.
Hatchett worked with the sprinters, hurdlers, and relay teams, helping lead the Seminoles to the 2013 ACC Outdoor Championship. Under the guidance of Hatchett, 10 Seminoles were honored as All-Americans.
As a student-athlete, Hatchett was a two-time ACC Honor Roll selection and a member of the Women’s Indoor/Outdoor ACC team in her final year.
Hatchett is a USATF Level I certified coach and received her bachelor’s degree in business marketing and finance from Florida State in 2010. A native of Gainesville, Florida, she is married to Brent Hatchett and the couple have two kids.
