2021 Summer: Beatrice Llano won her sixth Norwegian national hammer title on Sept. 10, 2021 with a mark of 65.28m/214-2. It's the best mark she's had through three meets this summer and her third consecutive national title.
2020-21 Outdoor:
- Finished fifth in the hammer at the NCAA Championships where she threw a season's best 68.78m/225-8, earning First Team All-America honors for the third time in her career.
- Prior to the the NCAA Championships, finished top-three in the four events she’s competed in this season, with two of those being victories.
- Ranks eighth in the NCAA and enters the championships with the fourth-best mark from prelims.

- Battled through injury to finish seventh in the hammer throw at the NCAA Championships for her second first-team All-America honor.
- Took third in the hammer at the Pac-12 Championships.
- Set an incredible personal best of 71.43m/234-4 feet in her first meet as a Sun Devil.
- The mark moved her into the top-10 in NCAA history in the event.
- Set a new Norwegian record in the hammer throw.
- Moved to No. 2 in school history in the hammer throw.
- Led the NCAA in 2019 for the entire regular season in the hammer throw.
- Earned her first all-conference honor indoors when she finished third in the weight throw at the MPSF Championships.
- Set a personal best of 20.24m/66-5 in the weight throw at Mt. T’s Invitational.
- The mark at Mt. T’s moved her to sixth in school history in the weight throw.

Personal: Beatrice is the daughter of Ragnfrid and Hector Llano . . . She was born in December, 1997 and is the youngest of four children, Daniel, Thomas and Paula . . . Her sister Paula has won several medals at Norwegian championships and is a Nordic champion in the pole vault . . . Beatrice transferred to ASU from Georgia . . . Her major is health and physical education.
