Named Head Coach Nov. 29, 2016
10-5-4 Overall /// 3-5-3 Big 12 (9th)
The 2025 season opened with promise for the Sun Devils as an 8-0-2 record marked the first 10-match unbeaten streak in the program’s history since not dropping a match over the course of a 12-match span from Oct. 31, 1999, to Sept. 24, 2000.
During the 10-match streak, the Sun Devils racked up home wins over Nevada, New Mexico State, Pepperdine, Denver and then-No. 10 BYU on Sept. 18. The 2-1 win over the ranked Cougars marked the first home win over a top-10 foe for ASU since beating then-No. 10 USC, 1-0, on Feb. 26, 2021. The match also featured a program-record 2,207 fans and gave the Sun Devils their first seven-match winning streak since 2002.
Over the course of the season, the program set a record with a total attendance of 13,286, surpassing the previous mark (9,333) set in 2022. The Sun Devils averaged 1,329, which was over 300 more fans per contest than the previous record (1,009) established in 2014.

Megan Bartlett /// Season 4
Named Head Coach June 22, 2022
45-18 Overall /// 11-13 Big 12 (6th) /// Big 12 Tournament champions
Between the multiple weekly conference honors and bringing another conference championship back to Tempe, 2026 will go down as one of the most successful in Sun Devil Softball history.
Including wins over Northwestern, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State, Arizona, UNC, UCF, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Texas, the Sun Devils posted a 45-18 record, the most wins by an ASU squad since the 2018 team won 48. The 45 wins were the third most by an Arizona State team since the 2014 season. Over the course of the 63-game schedule, the Sun Devils, which set a single-game program record with 2,373 fans at Feb. 5’s game against Oklahoma, earned 21 wins over teams that made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Over a 42-hour span, Arizona State swept through the Big 12 Softball Tournament to win its fourth conference championship - and first conference tournament - in program history. The sixth-seeded Sun Devils became the first team in the tournament’s history to knock out the No. 1, 2 and 3 seeds en route to winning the championship. ASU was also the first sixth seed to win the tournament outright since Kansas in 2006.
By virtue of winning the Big 12 Softball Tournament on the arm of tournament most valuable player Kenzie Brown, Arizona State made its 35th all-time appearance in an NCAA Regional. After the Sun Devils swept through the NCAA Bryan-College Station Regional and upset the No. 15 overall seed Texas A&M Aggies, ASU made its 11th all-time appearance - and first since 2022 - in an NCAA Super Regional. The four NCAA Tournament wins for head coach Megan Bartlett, who became just the third head coach in program history to win a conference championship, were tied for the second most by an ASU head coach during a single postseason since 2014, one shy of tying the top spot over the same span. ASU finished 14th in the NFCA rankings.

Wrestling
Zeke Jones /// Season 12
Named Head Coach April 2014
5-11 Dual Record /// 3rd at Big 12 Championship /// 13th at NCAA Championship
The 2026 season for head coach Zeke Jones and Sun Devil Wrestling featured key contributions from a plethora of newcomers, including the highly anticipated debuts of freshman Kyler and Kaleb Larkin. Redshirt sophomore Nicco Ruiz and graduate transfer David Szuba were headliners to a much-improved season that featured a slew of successes in a tournament setting.
After starting the season unranked, Arizona State climbed the charts and finished as the No. 12 team nationally.
Ruiz and Szuba led the way at the NCAA Championships, where each wrestler earned All-American status in their respective weight classes. Ruiz took home fourth place in the 165-lb. division, the highest finish by a Sun Devil 165-pounder since Steve Blackford took third in 2000, while Szuba became the seventh-straight Sun Devil heavyweight to earn All-American honors after placing seventh overall.
Additionally, graduate transfer No. 29 seeded Colton Hawks (197-lb.) made tournament history, becoming the lowest seed to advance to the championship quarterfinals since the full 33-wrestler field was seeded in 2019 after upsets of ACC champion No. 4 seed Sonny Styles (Virginia Tech) and No. 13 seed Bennett Berge (SDSU).
ASU placed third at the Big 12 Championship with 94 points - an improvement of 51 points and eight spots compared to 2025, where Ruiz was joined by 157-pounder Kaleb Larkin as the first Sun Devils in program history to win individual Big 12 titles since joining the conference in 2024. Kyler Larkin placed as the runner-up in the 133-lb. bracket, while Szuba took third in the heavyweight division.
The dual season was highlighted by a massive second-half improvement, going 4-2 in the team’s last six duals that included upsets of No. 22 Cornell, No. 22 Oregon State and No. 22 Lehigh. Kyler Larkin turned in a perfect dual record of 9-0 at the 133-lb. mark, as older brother Kaleb went 7-0 in Big 12 matchups.
The Sun Devils also saw a great deal of success at tournaments, with the following individuals claiming tournament titles throughout the season:
Aziz Fayzullaev: Cyclone Open Champion (184)
Kaleb Larkin: Big 12 Champion (157), Michigan State Open Champion (149)
Kyler Larkin: Michigan State Open Champion (133)
Pierson Manville: Michigan State Open Champion (141)

Cael Valencia: Reno TOC Champion (174), Cyclone Open Champion (174)
Anee Vigil: Reno TOC Champion (125)
Ben Szuba: Edinboro Open Champion (HWT), Reno TOC Champion (HWT)
ASU separated itself on a national scale academically, where the team finished as the No. 1 overall academic team per the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), with a team GPA of 3.689827 while seeing 10 members earn NWCA Scholar All-American status and 13 named to the All-Big 12 Winter Academic team.
