TEMPE – Sun Devil Wrestling will continue its Big 12 Conference stretch with a pair of duals this week. 

First up, Arizona State is set to welcome No. 17 Missouri (6-6, 0-1) to Tempe on Thursday night. Afterwards, the Sun Devils will hit the road to pay a visit to Northern Colorado (2-3, 1-0) on Sunday afternoon.

West Virginia Dual (L, 20-19)
The Sun Devils fell just short after both Kyler and Kaleb Larkin, Pierson Manville, Nicco Ruiz and David Szuba each picked up individual wins in their respective weight classes. Kaleb Larkin took out No. 1 Ty Watters by decision, while Ruiz and Szuba each earned wins by TF. 

Kaleb Larkin nabs Big 12 honors
A pair of ranked wins over top three opponents in West Virginia’s No. 1 Ty Watters and Iowa State’s No. 3 Vinny Zerban for Kaleb Larkin earned him Big 12 Wrestler of the Week honors, the conference announced on Tuesday.  In his two matches in the new 157-lb. weight class, Larkin is 2-0 and moves to 15-1 on the season with a team-leading nine bonus point wins (4 TF, 3 MD, 2 F). He is tied for the team lead in major decisions (3) between his time at 149 lbs. and 157 lbs.

The Tigers are off to a 6-6 start in dual play, while sitting at 0-1 in Big 12 Conference action. They’re coming off a tournament win at the Soldier Solute, where three different wrestlers each placed first in their respective weight class. The Tigers are headlined by Aedeon Sinclair, who currently sits at No. 2 in the 184-lb. division with an 18-1 record this season. His lone loss came to Iowa’s No. 1 Angelo Ferarri.

The Sun Devils are set to take on the Bears for ninth time in program history, where they hold a 6-2-1 record despite dropping the most recent contest (L, 21-17) on Feb. 2, 2025.
