Sophomore (2025-26)
- Named as ASU sophomore of the year alongside Nicco Ruiz
- Earned a spot on the Winter All-Big 12 Academic Team
- Tallied a 10-13 record in his third season as a Sun Devil, spiltting time as a starter at 125lb.
- Earned the largest upset win of his career over then-No.6 Brady Roark (SDSU) at the Cliff Keen Invitational on Dec. 5, 2025.
- Went 10-5 in tournament action including a 5-1 run at the Michigan State Open
Redshirt Freshman (2024-25)
- Went 3-3 in his first full season of action, sporting a 2-1 record in duals
- Picked up a huge win against Lehigh’s Mason Ziegler, 8-5, on Feb. 21 in Bethlehem
- Filled in for the Sun Devils at 133 in the team’s final two duals of the season at Lehigh and West Virginia
- Earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Winter Academic Honor Roll
Freshman (2023-24) - Appeared in the Journeymen Classic, Firestorm Open and two duals in his freshman season
Before ASU
Heralded as a talented wrestler and dedicated student, Damian Moreno is coming off of a very impressive summer after becoming a double All-American in Fargo. In high school, Moreno was a 2x 106lb state champion and recorded a 113lb second-place finish. During his time as a state champ, he recorded 72 wins in a row on his way to 160 career match wins.
