EVANSTON, Ill. -- At the 59th annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships, where the country's top programs and wrestlers convene for a two-day tournament, Jacori Teemer could hardly be contained. One of 15 Sun Devils competing for No. 10 ASU, the top-seeded Teemer dominated his way to a title in the 157-pound class, going a perfect 6-0 at the NOW Arena.

On Saturday evening, he toppled (3) Trevor Chumbley (Northwestern) by an 11-6 decision in the championship round. Earlier in the day, he beat (12) Colton Washleski (Rider) in a 17-13 decision.

Teemer's championship title is the Sun Devils' first since 2018 (didn't compete from 2019-21). A Sun Devil has won at this tournament in four of their past five times at Midlands.
