TEMPE, Ariz. -- What better way to send off one of the most impactful senior classes in program history?
In the regular season finale for Sun Devil Swim & Dive, in which they recognized 13 seniors for Senior Day, both the Men and Women defeated in-state rival Arizona in historic fashion. In addition to the Sun Devils winning every swimming event, the 165-point margin of victory by the Men and the 123-point margin of victory by the Women is the largest over Arizona since at least 1998.

Sophomore sensation Léon Marchand broke another school record in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:07.81, a record shattered by nearly six seconds.
Lindsay Looney highlighted the Sun Devil Women's second consecutive sweep of a Pac-12 opponent, as she won a trio of races races and was part of the winning 400 yard freestyle relay team in the final race of the contest.

Women's Senior 200 yard Medley Relay
Returning to the pool for the first time in two weeks, the Sun Devil Women's Swim team placed two in the top three to begin the meet against that-school-down-south. The relay team consisting of Charli Brown-Iza Adame-Jadé Foelske-Erin Milligan swam a winning time of 1:39.02, and following them was Jane Brown-Zoe Summar-Marty Katrina-Indigo Armon taking third with a time of 1:40.84.
Men's Senior 200 yard Medley Relay
The top-ranked Sun Devil Men returned to the pool with a vengeance against the Wildcats as the team claimed the relay to begin the duel. Jack Dolan-Léon Marchand-Max McCusker-Jonny Kulow swam a 1:22.98, closely followed by Jack Wadsworth-John Heaphy-Alexander Colson-Cody Bybee claiming second in 1:25.31, beating out the Wildcat group by five-tenths of a second.
Women's 1000 yard Freestyle
The longest race featured two Sun Devils placing on the podium. Katherine Randall swam a swift 9:55.92 to be the only swimmer under the 10-minute mark. Her teammate, Mackenzie Nedom, placed second with a 10:08.06 to give the Sun Devils an early lead. Both Sun Devil freshmen have proved to be steady long-distance swimmers for this team throughout the season.
Men's 1000 yard freestyle
Continuing his dominance, Zalan Sarkany was able to break another school record in the longest race of the day with a swift time of 8:49.31, beating out his teammate, Jake Mason by more than 11 seconds. Mason placed second with a time of 9:00.79 with Parker Reynolds taking third in 9:10.93. Sarkany has now set a new 1000 record in each of his first three dual meets of his Sun Devil career.
Women's 200 yard freestyle
A fitting beginning to her Senior Day, Lindsay Looney claimed another victory for ASU in the freestyle as the team went 1-2. Looney swam the winning 1:45.18 with Molly Batchelor closely behind, being only separated by half a second, as she finished in 1:45.69.
Men's 200 Yard Freestyle
In his last meet at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center, Grant House helped the Sun Devils pull further ahead with a 1:31.62 to win the 200 free. The team swept the event placing all four swimmers in the top-four. Julian Hill placed second in 1:32.90, followed by teammate Patrick Sammon who swam a 1:33.27, and then Tiago Behar finished in fourth with a time of 1:34.43.
Women's 100 yard backstroke
Continuing the early dominance, Charli Brown willed herself to another victory with a time of 53.35 before Katrina Marty took second place in 54.40 to extend the Sun Devil lead.
Men's 100 yard Backstroke
Capping off his spectacular sophomore campaign, Marchand broke another school record with a time of 44.77 to win this one. The race also included a sweep of the podium as Owen McDonald finished in 46.05 and then Hubert Kos took third place with a time of 47.15. Kos, like Sarkany, has been lights-out since joining the program in early January.
Women's 100 yard breaststroke
The race featured four Sun Devils taking the top-4 position in the race, beating out every Arizona swimmer in the race. Iza Adame finished just above the minute pace with a time of 1:00.23, followed was teammates Izzy Krantzcke finishing in 1:01.93, then Ginger McMahon claiming third with a time of 1:02.14. The three Sun Devils, all underclassmen, are among the many young swimmers that have stepped up this season.
Men's 100 yard breaststroke
Continuing the momentum, the Sun Devils claimed yet another race with David Schlicht finishing in 52.49, following was his teammate John Heaphy a second later in 53.41 to round out the top two for the Sun Devils.
Women's 200 yard butterfly
Grabbing her second win of the day, Looney shined in the butterfly with a swift 1:53.78. Not far behind was Foelske, who came in three seconds later at 1:56.15 to round out the top-two for the Sun Devils.

Keeping the pace for the Sun Devils was Alexander Colson, claiming the race in 1:41.30. His teammate and fellow senior Andrew Gray took second place in 1:43.15 to extend the Sun Devil lead.
Women's 50 yard Freestyle
The shortest event of the day -- the splash-and-dash -- featured the Sun Devils sweeping the top-three positions with Batchelor finishing in 23-seconds to claim the race. Being only separated by five-hundredths of a second was her teammate Erin Milligan with a time of 23.05 in second place. Ieva Maluka was able to beat out the opposition for third place with a time of 23.14.
Men's 50 yard Freestyle
In the final race before the break, Jack Dolan and teammate Jonny Kulow tied for first place to split the points with times of 19.46. Taking third was Max McCusker to round out the top-three for ASU, as they swept the Wildcats in the fastest race of the day.
Women's 100 yard freestyle
Returning from the break, the Women were able to keep their momentum with Maluka beating out her teammate by three-hundredths of a second in 49.45, respectively, Milligan swam in 49.48 to push the Sun Devils further ahead
Men's 100 yard Freestyle
On the Men's side, the Sun Devils swept the second straight event with Patrick Sammon taking the race in 42.76. Jonny Kulow swam a 42.79, and Dolan placed third with a 43.07. Through the first 18 swimming events, the Sun Devils combined to outscore Arizona, 244-75.
Women's 200 yard backstroke
The hot-streak continues for Charli Brown, who claimed yet another race for ASU as she swam a 1:57.11. Coming in third for the Sun Devils was Hana Edwards as she tied with an Arizona swimmer to split the points.

Adding to the success of today was Hubert Kos winning the race by at least two seconds with a time of 1:41.10, as teammate Owen McDonald took second with a time of 1:43.67.
Women's 200 yard Breaststroke
Sweeping the podium was the theme for the Sun Devils this afternoon, as all underclassmen in the race took the top-four positions for ASU. Iza Adame placed first for ASU in the breaststroke with a time of 2:12.25, then Emma Gehlert followed her with a 2:13.58. Zoe Summar placed third with a time of 2:15.31 and Izzy Krantzcke came in fourth with a time of 2:15.66.

It was another 1-2-3 finish for the Sun Devil Men, who were paced by David Schlicht (1:53.89), then Cale Martter (1:55.74) and John Heaphy (1:58.65).
Women's 500 yard Freestyle
Rounding out the final distance event of the day, Batchelor won the race by eight seconds, swimming a 4:45.07, followed by her teammate Randall with a 4:53.03, as the Sun Devils swept the podium again. Elli Straume rounded out the top-three to finish in 4:56.09.

The Frenchman continues to amaze, as Marchand broke another school record, this time by seven seconds as he finished in a swift 4:07.81 to have his second victory today. His teammate Julian Hill claimed second in 4:15.81 as Sarkany finished third in 4:20.57, helping the Sun Devils sweep the podium again.
Women's 100 yard Butterfly
Looney was victorious in the Butterfly with the Sun Devil Women grabbing the top two spots. The Denison, Texas, native finished in 52.82 to make it her third victory of the day. Foelske came in second in 53.41, as ASU continued to lengthen their lead heading into the second break.

Keeping the winning streak alive for the Sun Devils was Max McCusker, who was followed by a trio of teammates to go 1-2-3-4 in this event. Colson, House and Gray trailed the winner McCusker.
Women's 200 yard IM
Returning from the second intermission, Charli Brown came out flying in the water, winning the race in under two minutes, in 1:59.57. Taking second was Foelske who swam a 2:00.88, and following her were teammates Summar (2:03.51) and Krantzcke, who placed fourth with a time of 2:03.69.
Men's 200 yard IM
Freshman Hubert Kos was victorious after the break with a time of 1:43.10, as his teammate Schlicht finished in second in 1:44.99. The Sun Devils swept the race as Owen McDonald finished in 1:45.43 for ASU to round out the top-three. Cale Matter swam a swift 1:47.32 to claim fourth over the opposition.
Women's 400 yard Freestyle Relay
Rounding out the afternoon for the Sun Devils was another victory to cap off the regular season for the Women's team. The top relay team for ASU consisted of Milligan-Batchelor-Maluka-Looney to finish in 3:16.44. The Women won every race against the Wildcats to claim their second consecutive sweep and their third dual meet win in their last four tries.
Men's 400-yard Freestyle Relay
In the final race of the dual, the Men's team matched the Women in perfection with both teams winning every single race of the afternoon. The top relay team for ASU, consisting of House-Kulow-Sammon-Marchand swam in 2:48.00, then claiming second place was another relay team for the Sun Devils as Dolan-McCusker-Behar-Bybee finished in 2:51.78. The No. 1 Sun Devils cruised to another victory to finish a perfect 4-0 at home this season.
DIVING RESULTS
Lane Stallworth was victorious in the platform event, narrowly edging out Arizona's diver by less than three points. Stallworth also had a second-place finish in the 1-meter (51.13), trailing the Wildcat winner by a dozen points. Thomas Wesche was top Sun Devil finisher in the 3-meter.
Amayah Wiley was the top Sun Devil Women's diver this afternoon, courtesy of a third-place finish in the 3-meter, as Ashlyn Kirsch settled in at fifth-place. In the 1-meter, Wiley and Kirsch placed fourth and fifth, respectively, and were narrowly separated by less than a point.
