TUCSON - It was a great day to be a Sun Devil.

Arizona State celebrated a new program record, over a dozen wins and nearly two dozen new personal records this weekend at Arizona's Jim Click Shootout. Turner Washington bested his own program record in the discus by over a foot, while Josephine Anokye, Jamar Marshall Jr., and Dubem Nwachukwu all won their events with personal-best times. Katie Eidem opened the week with a 5,280 PR in the heptathlon that featured her setting PRs in the shot put, javelin and 800m run.

Washington highlighted the throwing events with yet another record-breaking performance, this time going 64.57m/211' 10" on his third attempt of the discus to firmly win the day and improve his program-leading best mark by a foot and an inch. Washington now leads the nation by six feet too.

Anokye had herself a day, winning both the 100- and 200m dash events. Her 11.40 100m time was a new PR, while her 23.00 200m was an exact tie on her record that already sits third all-time at ASU. Anokye's time in the 100m moves her to top-40 in the country, while her 200m time puts her at 10th.

Marshall Jr. won the 110m hurdles in a personal-best 13.69 and took second in the 400m hurdles 50.88. The 13.69 110H puts him fourth on the ASU all-time list and 11th in the country, while his 50.88 400H ranks sixth at ASU and 15th in the NCAA

Nwachukwu won the 200m in 21.07, a PR, and took third in the 400m run with a 46.39 PR.
