Royce Fisher joins the Sun Devil Track and Field staff as director of operations after spending one season as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Arizona in 2025-26.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Fisher competed collegiately at Missouri. During his time with the Tigers, Fisher specialized in the distance events and 3,000-meter steeplechase, placing eighth in the event at the 2022 SEC Outdoor Championships with a time of 9:04.22 before improving to sixth at the 2024 conference meet in 9:03.97.
Fisher also competed in cross country during his time at Missouri. Before Missouri, Fisher competed at Arkansas State during the 2020-21 season, where he was a member of the Red Wolves' Sun Belt Conference Indoor and Outdoor championship teams. He also earned Dean's List recognition in both semesters at Arkansas State.
Fisher graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in sport management. He earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition during his time at Missouri, including honors in Fall 2022 and Spring 2024, while also earning multiple Dean's List selections.
A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Fisher attended Grain Valley High School, where he served as a four-year team captain for the cross country and track and field programs.
