2018 Outdoor:
- Ran a personal best in the 100 at the last meet of the regular season when he clocked an 11.09 at the Desert Heat Classic.
- Ran a PR at the Sun Angel Classic in the 110-hurdles and finished 26th in 15.22 seconds.
- At the same meet, finished 19th in the 200 with a personal best time of 22.43.
2018 Indoor:
- Ran the No. 7 time in school history of 8.32 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles.
- Finished 18th in the 60-meter hurdles at the MPSF Championships.
- Took second in the hurdles in his Sun Devil debut.
High School:
- Colorado 3A state champion in 110-meter hurdles and ran the fastest time in the state for the 2017 season
- Became Denver School of Science and Technology’s first state champion when he took the 110m hurdles crown his senior season.
- Took fourth at the 2017 Simplot Games in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.33.
Personal: Marcus Howard was born July 31, 1999 to Roberta and Paul Howard… Marcus is a finance major at Arizona State… His older sister, Vicki, competed for the University of New Orleans in the 100-meter hurdles… Ran club track in Colorado for the Flyers under the late coach Tony Wells… Competed under Wells’ son-in-law Wayne Vaden for Angle Flight Track Club following Wells’ passing.
