- Placed 11th in the 3000m steeplechase with 9:47.99 at the Pac-12/Big Ten Invitational (3/28).
2014 Season
- Redshirted the season.
High School:
- Competed for Great Oak High School for four years in both track and cross country.
- Was the 2011 and 2012 cross country team captain and the 2012 track team captain.
- Picked up all-county and all-league honors in cross country.
- Set freshman class and junior class records in the three mile.
Personal: Son of ASU alumni Mike and Sara Balder … has one brother, Quinn (16) … pursuing a major in business.
