2015 Outdoor:
- Recorded a personal best in the discus with 48.38m (158-08) at the Pac-12 Championships.
- Recorded a personal best in the shot put with 18.55m (58-5.25) at the Duel In The Desert (5/2).
2015 Indoor:
- Placed third in the shot put with 18.84m (61-9.75) at the MPSF Indoor Championships (2/28).
- Placed third in the shot put with a personal best of 18.97m (62-03.00) at the Don Kirby Elite Invite (2/14), ranking 7th in school history.
- Placed first in the shot put with 18.58m (60-11.50) at the Friday Night Duals (1/17).
2014 Outdoor:
- Placed sixth in the shot put event at the Pac-12 Championships and tied his personal best 16.86m (55-3.75).
- Placed fourth in the Double Dual with a career best 16.86m (55-3.75) in the shot put event.
2014 Indoor:
- Placed sixth in the shot put event at the Don Kirby Invitational with a career best 18.45m (60-6.50).
- Placed first in the shot put event at the Mountain T’s Invitational (17.83m; 58-6.00).
- Placed second in the shot put event at the Lumberjack Challenge (17.66m; 57-11.25).
Arizona State: 2013:
- Redshirted the season.
High School:
- Anderson was the 2011 and 2012 Minnesota State Champion in the shot put.
- With a personal best of 65-8, was the top returning shot putter in the nation in 2012.
- That mark ranks second all-time in Minnesota state prep history.
- Andover also has a career-best mark of 182-5 in the discus throw.
Personal: Born to Colin and Lynne Anderson, who are both Olympians ... Lynne, a former American discus record holder and an Olympian in the event in 1976 and 1980, is a throws coach at the University of Minnesota and works with Thomas on the discus in the summer ...
