The daughter of Pam and Jeff Leffel, she has one sister, Hailey, who played volleyball at Chandler Gilbert Community College. Courtney intends to pursue a degree in Exploratory Health and Life Sciences.

- Led the team in digs with 566, good for eighth place for total digs in a single season at ASU.
- Had 15 matches with 20 or more digs in 2019, totaling less than 10 in just three matches.
- Registered 22 digs in the win at Arizona.
- Her 20 digs against USC allowed her to move into the top 10 for total digs in a single season.
- Led the match against Washington with 16 digs.
- Earned 19 digs against WSU during her senior night.
- Named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week (11/18).
- After earning 27 digs against Oregon, Leffel moved into sixth place in career digs at ASU.
- Logged 20 digs in the five set loss to ranked Utah.

- Led the team in digs with 506 digs, which was sixth-best in the Pac-12.

- Had a career-best streak of 11-consecutive matches with double-digit digs. There were only four matches this season where she had less than 10 digs.
- In nine matches, she had 20-plus digs.
- Had three aces in the win against No. 15 Washington.
