The Sun Devil men's golf team, fresh off a win at the Fighting Illini Invitational, will next play at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational Presented by Charles Schwab, but with a condensed lineup (but for good reasons).
Senior Fifa Laopakdee and sophomore transfer Nguyen Anh Minh will be competing in the Asian Games, while sophomores Boston Bracken and Bowen Mauss will be playing in the PGA Tour's Bank of Utah Championship (Oct. 1-4) in Irvins.
ASU will tee it with a lineup of senior Connor Williams, freshman Oscar Couilleau, junion Peer Wernicke and sophomores Bryan Newman and Raul Gomez Montalva. Couilleau tied for sixth at the Illini Invitational with a 10-under 196 that included an 8-under 62 in his first round.
The teams will play 36 holes on Sept. 28 and then a final 18 on Sept. 29 at Colonial Country Club (par 70/7,289 yards).
The winner of the tournament will receive an exemption into the PGA TOUR's Charles Schwab Challenge in 2027.

Arizona State is third in the second Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches’ Poll, with only Auburn and Oklahoma State ahead of it while Illinois and Texas Tech round out the top five. Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt complete the top 10. Others in the top 25 in the field include Alabama (11), Georgia (12), North Carolina (14), Oklahoma (18), Stanford (20), Pepperdine (21) and UCLA (23).
