CLAREMONT, Calif. – No. 5 Sun Devil Water Polo concluded the 2026 Convergence in Claremont, Calif. from March 6-7, going 4-0 throughout the two-day event.
Senior attacker Millie Quin made program history during the Convergence Tournament, becoming Arizona State's all-time leading scorer and points leader. Quin's 13 goals across the four-game weekend pushed her career total to 260 goals, breaking the previous program record. The milestone also brought her to 354 career points, cementing her as the best offensive player in Sun Devil Water Polo history.
Arizona State opened the tournament against No. 25 Pomona-Pitzer, taking down the hosting school 19-5. Senior attacker Millie Quin and freshman utility Camelia Bouloukbachi led the way with three goals each, while freshman attacker Laura Kardos added three of her own. The Sun Devils displayed their offensive depth with 10 different players finding the back of the net in the opening victory.
The Sun Devils followed that up by facing No. 20 Wagner and came out on top with a 23-9 win. Quin paced Arizona State with five goals, while Laura Kardos contributed four. Bouloukbachi added three more goals as the Sun Devils once again spread the scoring across 10 different players.
On Sunday, Arizona State delivered their most dominant performance of the weekend, defeating Santa Clara 24-5. Junior attacker Kat Featherstone led the offensive charge with four goals, while sophomore attacker Itziar Almeda added three and freshman attacker Iris Vreeling scored two. The Sun Devils set the tone early with nine first-quarter goals and never looked back, with 13 different players recording at least one goal.
ASU wrapped up the Convergence Tournament with a top-10 showdown against No. 10 UC Irvine, coming out victorious 16-9. Freshman attacker Jelena Butic starred in the finale with a team-high five goals, while Almeda and Bouloukbachi each added two to secure the perfect 4-0 weekend.

Sun Devil Water Polo returns to the valley to host No. 3 USC on March 14 at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center at 1 p.m. MST. The matchup will also serve as Senior/Alumni Day.
