Sun Devil outlook
Arizona State (9-8, 2-3 Big 12)

  • Last week, Arizona State concluded its stretch of five-straight road meets with the rivalry meet at Arizona. ASU came up short in the close meet, but the team did score a new best road score of 196.000, scoring exactly 49.000 on all four events.
  • The Sun Devils are back home for the first time since Feb. 7 against Denver. Since then, they have had five-straight road meets.
  • Senior Kimberly Smith continued her strong season, winning the all-around title with a 39.325. She has scored at least a 39.300 in the all-around seven times this season and has won five all-around titles. She has 12 total event titles this season, winning titles on vault, bars and floor as well.
  • As a team, Arizona State has 31 event titles this season. Both bars and floor are tied for the highest total with seven each. After Smith's 12 event titles, freshman Kylee Bromley is second on the team with six total titles.
  • A win on Sunday would give head coach Jay Santos his 100th career win as a head coach. Prior to ASU, he was the head coach at Eastern Michigan for two seasons (2015-16).

Opponent outlook
Southeast Missouri State (14-6, 4-0 OVC)

  • The Redhawks took third at a quad meet at Iowa last weekend, beating Northern Illinois. Prior to Sunday’s meet, SEMO will be competing in a quad meet at Arizona this Friday.
  • This will be the first meeting between ASU and SEMO.

Utah State (15-4, 4-2 MWC)

  • The Aggies competed at the Oregon State Beavers last Friday, getting the win on the road with a 196.650. That was their fourth ranked win of the year.
  • ASU leads the all-time series 14-3 against Utah State. The programs last saw each other in 2024 in a tri-meet at Southern Utah, which the Sun Devils took first place at.
