ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Sun Devil Track and Field will close out its indoor regular season this week, traveling east to compete at New Mexico’s Don Kirby Elite Invitational at the Albuquerque Convention Center from Feb. 13-14.

Both days of the meet will be streamed on FloTrack via subscription, while live stats are available as well. A full event schedule can be found here

Arizona State is headlined by freshman sprinter Amir Thompson, who just posted the second-fastest 200m time (20.62) in the program's indoor history this past weekend at the Charlie Thomas Invitational on Feb. 6.

Thompson’s time of 20.62 also comes in as the fifth-best 200m time in the entire country so far this season. He is joined by junior sprinter Jayden Davis and graduate thrower Brandon Lloyd as Sun Devils to appear in the TFRRS top-25 individual event rankings, while the Men’s 4x400m relay time claims a spot as well.

On the women’s side, graduate thrower Ines Lopez has gotten off to a blazing start this season and recently set a new personal record of 16.51m / 51-2 to claim a runner-up finish in the women’s shot put at the Charlie Thomas Invitational on Feb. 7. Lopez has placed second in both meets she's competed in this season after nabbing silver at the Corky Classic on Jan. 17. 

The men’s 4x400m relay team of sophomore Mateo Medina, senior Dayton Carlson, Amir Thompson and Jayden Davis will look to secure back-to-back wins after claiming gold at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a time of 3:05.08 on Feb. 7.
