TEMPE  –  Concluding the Big 12 West Championships, No. 2/18 Sun Devil Swim and Dive took home the men’s and women’s titles Saturday morning at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.

ASU ended the third session of the Big 12 West Championships, placing first or second in each event of the day. Notable top performances came from the men’s 100 free, women’s 200 fly and the 400 medley relay events. In diving, senior Amayah Wiley was first in the 1m diving, scoring 257.05 points. Lane Stallworth was third in the 3m diving with 239.70 points.

Senior Jonny Kulow led the way for the men’s 100 free team that delivered a podium-sweeping performance. Kulow recorded a time of 41.60 from start to finish, followed closely by senior Remi Fabiani’s 41.73 time and sophomore Quin Seider’s 42.44.

Women’s 200 fly was headlined by sophomore swimmer Julia Ullmann, who finished in first place with a 1:57.04 wall-to-wall time. Ullmann's time was trailed by junior Sonia Vaishnani, who was second in 1:59.34, and sophomore Ariel Beltran, who was third in 2:01.81. 

Freshman Noah Mudadu earned a first-place finish in the men’s 1650 free (A finals) with a time of 15:15.39. In the women’s 1650 free, junior Alexa Reyna secured the fastest time in her heat, touching the wall in 16:18.07. Arizona native Ryan King took first in his heat (B finals), recording a 15:19.88 final time.
