SOPHOMORE (2025-26)
- Took first place in the 200 IM (1:44.53), placed second in the 100 breast (52.62), and competed in the 200 breast in the Big 12 East West Championship. He also helped the Sun Devils win the 200 medley relay (1:22.50) and place second in the 400 medley relay (3:02.74). (1/16-1/17).
- In the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge Championship, he won the 100 back (45.84) and was second in the 200 IM. Set a personal best the day before in the 200 IM (1:43.64). (11/21-23).
- Won the 100 Yard Backstroke and took second in the 200 Yard IM against USC. Also participated in the 200 Medley Relay (11/8)
- Placed second in 100 Backstroke, third in the 100 Breaststroke and fourth in the 200 Breaststroke. Also competed in the 200 IM and the 200 Medley Relay at the tri-meet between Stanford and California. (10/24-10/25)
- Competed in the All-Arizona Invite and finished first in 200 IM, second in 200 Medley Relay, and third in the 100 Backstroke (10/10).
- Placed second in the 200 breast (1:54.63) and the 100 breast (52.42) against UNLV (10/3). Also swam in the 200 medley relay.
FRESHMAN (2024-25)
- At the NCAA Championships, he helped the Sun Devils place fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:20.87) earning first-team All-American honors
- At the Big 12 Championships (2/25-3/1) he was part of the winning 200 and 400 medley relay teams. He placed second in the 100 back (45.46) and fifth in the 200 IM (1:43.47).
- Competing against Arizona, he placed second in both the 100 breast (52.63) and the 200 breast (1:54.31). He also helped the Sun Devils win the 200 medley relay (1:21.88) and placed third in the 200 free relay (1:18.55).
- In the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown, he was third in the 100 back (46.16), fourth in the 200 IM (1:45.15), and swam in the 200 back event. He also helped the Sun Devils win the 200 and 400 medley relays.
- In a meet against No. 24 Minnesota (1/10) he was second in the 100 back (46.97) and swam in the 200 back. He also placed second in the 200 IM (1:48.08) and was on the winning 200 medley relay, with a 21.32 50 back leg.
- Competing against Grand Canyon (1/4) he won the 100 back (46.66) and the 200 back (1:44.95). Also swam in the 400 free relay and the 200 medley relay.
- Competing in the NC State Invite (11/21-23) he placed fourth in the 100 back (46.27) and had a top-10 showing in the 200 back (1:43.39) and the 200 IM (1:46.24). He helped ASU win the 200 medley relay (1:21.63).
- In the tri-meet against No. 1 California and No. 9 Stanford (11/7-8), Vergnes had a very impressive weekend, leading off the 200 medley relay team in their efforts to a victory (1:21.83). He won the 100 backstroke (45.32), took second in the 100 breaststroke (52.29) as well as the 200 backstroke (1:42.32) and placed third in the 200 IM (1:45.36).
- In the dual meet against No. 5 NC State (10/25-26) he was part of the winning 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay. He also placed 3rd in the 100 breast (53.17), placed third in the 200 IM (1:46.50) and placed 2nd in the 200 breast (1:54.31)
- In the quad-meet against Arizona, NAU and GCU (10/12), was part of the 400 medley relay team that placed 2nd, he swam a 51.45 leg. Also he came in 1st in the 50 back (21.75), and 1st in the 150 breast (1:24.07) and came in 2nd in the 100 IM (47.99).
- In his first collegiate meet, he appeared in the the 200 yard medley relay, placed 3rd in the 100 breast (52.93) and won the 200 breast (1:55.67). Placed 5th in the 200 IM in 1:49.88. (10/4)
