Arizona State (0-2) dropped its first two duals of the season to Michigan and Lehigh, with respective scores of 30-10 and 24-18. Despite the outcomes, Larkin’s arrival remains a huge storyline. The Arizona native’s dominance has cemented him in headlines across the wrestling world:

Larkin outscored opponents 31-7 across both bouts, with a 12-3 MD win over No. 2-ranked Lachlan McNeil (Michigan), and a TF 19-4 (7:00) over Owen Reinsel (Lehigh).

Larkin was joined by younger brother Kyler Larkin (133 LB) and redshirt-freshman Pierson Manville (141 LB) as Sun Devils to go undefeated at the National Duals Invitational. The trio combined to outscore their opponents 79-24, with a collective 2 MD’s and 2 TF’s en route to a combined 6-0 record.

The young guns for ASU will look to build on the team’s experience at the highly competitive 16-team field, which features 13 of the top 16 teams in the country going toe-to-toe in Tulsa.
