TEMPE – Sixteen swimmers representing Arizona State will compete this week at the NCAA Women's Swim and Dive Championships (March 26-29) at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington.

The full schedule of events is listed below with the 16 Sun Devils who are representing ASU. The championships will be streamed on ESPN+. Prelims to qualify for finals will occur at 10 a.m. AZT beginning on Thursday with finals beginning at 6 p.m each night.

In 2024, Arizona State won its first National Championship with 523.5 points for its first title in program history.

Ilya Kharun will be in the 50 free, 100 fly and the 200 fly, the most among the 14 Sun Devil selections. Jonny Kulow will partake in the 50 and 100 free. Andy Dobrzanski will compete in both breaststroke events. Senior Daniel Matheson will swim in the 400 IM and the 1650 free. Tommy Palmer and Patrick Sammon will swim in the 100 free, as Sammon will participate in the 200 free. A full list of events that Sun Devils will compete in can be seen here.

The Sun Devils hold the most selections among Big 12 schools in individual events

LAST TIME OUT:
The Sun Devil men won their first Big 12 Championship and their third straight conference title in program history under first-year head coach Herbie Behm

Junior Jonny Kulow was named men's swimmer of the meet at Big 12 Championships by sweeping the 50 and 100 free events at Federal Way last month. He also helped the team win relays in the 200 and 400 medley relay and the 400 free relays, setting meet records in all three events.

Ilya Kharun is aiming to defend his 200 fly crown at NCAAs, a year after winning the national championship in 1:38.26 in the event. At Big 12 Championships, he won the 100 fly in 44.13 and the 200 fly in 1:39.41. The Olympian was also part of the 200 & 400 medley relays and the 400 free relay that won Big 12 titles.

Senior Patrick Sammon won the 200 free Big 12 title and helped the team secure the national championships last year. He also was part of the 400 free relay that secured the Big 12 record.

In the relays, the Sun Devils set Big 12 records in all in the 200 medley relay (1:21.16) and the 400 free relay (2:44.03). The team also set meet records in the 400 medley relay (3:00.55) and the 800 free relay (6:08.54).
