Three different publications selected Sun Devils as their National Player of the Week on Tuesday. The Outland Trophy named redshirt junior offensive lineman Leif Fautanu as their National Player of the Week (Top Lineman). Pro Football Focus (PFF) gave redshirt junior tight end Jalin Conyers the highest-grade of any tight end in the country and gave him a spot on their Team of the Week. Junior running back Cam Skattebo earned his third honor roll distinction from the Paul Hornung Award, but this time receiving his first National Player of the Week recognition from the organization. The Sun Devil trio was essential to the excellent performance in the annual Homecoming game. Arizona State took down Washington State at Mountain America Stadium, 38-27, on Saturday night.

Leif Fautanu - Outland Trophy National Player of the Week
For the first time, the FWAA is selecting an Outland Trophy National Player of the Week as part of the NCFAA's weekly national honors from 12 awards. Sun Devil center Leif Fautanu was named the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America. Arizona State's offense racked up 509 total yards (274 passing and 235 rushing) with Fautanu and the offensive line leading the way. It is the first time the Sun Devils have eclipsed 250 passing yards and 200 rushing yards (234) in the same game since a victory over No. 15 Utah Nov. 3, 2018 (285 passing, 251 rushing). Arizona State finished with 235 yards and five touchdowns on the ground, with Fautanu serving as the mainstay in the middle. Three different players found the end zone via the rush, led by DeCarlos Brooks' three-touchdown effort. The five rushing touchdowns as a team are the most since ASU ran for six in a victory over Southern Utah in the 2021 season opener. It is the most in a FBS game since the Sun Devils ran for six in a victory over Oregon State in the 2020 season finale. This is one of only 16 times since 1996 that ASU has ran for five or more touchdowns in a game. Fautanu did not allow a single pressure according to PFF. He was also the 15th-highest graded center in the nation according to PFF.

Jalin Conyers - PFF Team of the Week
Tight end Jalin Conyers finished with four catches for 90 yards in the 38-27 victory over Washington State on Saturday. Thanks to his performance, he landed on the Pro Football Focus "Team of the Week". He was the highest-graded tight end in the country according to the publication, earning him one of only 11 offensive slots. Not only was Conyers impactful in the passing game, his blocking was a key reason why Arizona State finished with a season-high 235 rushing yards. With his four receptions on Saturday, Conyers moved into sixth in program history among tight ends with 68 career catches. He now only needs 13 catches to move into the Top-5 in program history. Conyers is also only 206 receiving yards shy of becoming just the seventh tight end in program history to reach the 1,000 career receiving yard tally after adding 90 to his total last week. His 235 yards after the catch this season is third among FBS tight ends this season despite him missing time in three games this season. Conyers has account for 106 yards after contact this year, the fifth-most among FBS tight ends. He has forced six missed tackles, the eight-highest total among FBS tight ends.

Cam Skattebo - Paul Hornung Award National Player of the Week (Vote for Cam)
Running back Cam Skattebo played a key role in Arizona State's offensive explosion, as the Sun Devils took down Washington State 38-27 on Saturday. Skattebo was an integral part of the offensive game plan and showed off his versatility, contributing in many ways to the win. For the third time this year, Skattebo's efforts were rewarded with him landing on the Paul Hornung Weekly Honor Roll. This time, he was selected as the National Player of the Week by the Hornung Award, a distinction given to the most oustanding player in college football who offers versatility. Skattebo ran for 121 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. The 11 yards per rush were the most by a Pac-12 player with at least 10 carries on Saturday. It was his second 100+ yard performance of the season and 12th of his career. His 66-yard scamper in the third quarter was the first time a Sun Devil had a 50+ yard rush since Jayden Daniels ran for 51-yards on a play Oct. 8, 2021 in a victory over Stanford. It is the longest by a running back since Rachaad White had a 93-yard run in the 70-7 victory over Arizona back on  2021. It is also the longest rush of Skattebo's career, including his time at Sacramento State. Arguably his biggest rush came when he broke through several would-be tacklers on a nine-yard rush to get a first down and seal the victory, as the Sun Devils ran out the rest of the clock. After finding the end zone in the third quarter, he has now ran for a touchdown in each of his last five games. Skattebo sparked an effort on the ground that resulted in Arizona State rushing for a season-best 235 yards. His support of the offensive line in pass protection also resulted in zero sacks of quarterback Trenton Bourget. He was also called upon to punt, helping the Sun Devils with field position by delivering a 39-yard boot. Skattebo also caught a pass out of the backfield, showing off his entire skill set in the victory.

Pac-12 Players of the Week
Sun Devil Football claimed three of the six Pac-12 Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. Center Leif Fautanu was named the Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week. Kicker Dario Longhetto earned Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week honors. Defensive lineman B.J. Green took home Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Week. It is the first time that three Sun Devils have been named Pac-12 Player of the Week in the same week since 1993. Arizona State swept the awards when running back Mario Bates (Offensive), linebacker Dan Lucas (Defensive), and kicker Jon Baker (Special Teams) earned the honors after a 32-17 win over No. 19 Washington on Oct. 30, 1993. It is the fifth time this season that a school has won at least three awards in one week.
