TEMPE – No. 8 Sun Devil Wrestling is set to hit the mats at Desert Financial Arena on Sunday against No. 17 Princeton. The Devils are looking to bounce back after a tough loss to No. 4 Iowa State last week. Matches are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. AZ and will be available to watch on Pac-12 Arizona. The lineups feature eight All-Americans, with two representing the Tigers and six representing the Sun Devils. Surface-lot parking (Lot 59) is free and tickets are still available.

Courtney took part in his first dual since early 2022 on Jan. 4 against Cornell where he defeated No. 20 Brett Ungar 7-4, improving his record to 5-1. Figueroa reentered the lineup last Sunday against No. 4 Iowa State for the first time in two meets and defeated Caleb Uessley 7-5 to secure his 11th consecutive victory.

- No. 6 Richard Figueroa (125 lbs) recorded his 11th consecutive victory this season on Sunday and remains undefeated for the Sun Devils. He won the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational back in early December.
- Michael McGee got back on track with a win Sunday against Iowa State's No. 23 Ramazan Attasauov in a 9-3 decision, getting him off a two-match skid. He's currently 10-2 this season.
- No. 5 Kyle Parco upset No. 3 Paniro Johnson in an unbelievable 7-5 sudden victory final, giving Parco his 13th win of the season, the most wins on the Sun Devils' roster this season.
Princeton Notables:
- Princeton is chasing their first dual win of the season. They opened the year with four-straight losses before competing at Midlands (eight place) and the F&M Open (second place).
- The Tigers are looking for their first team victory as they are currently 0-4 on the season. They have previously faced Indiana, No. 11 Wisconsin, Michigan State and No. 17 Rutgers this season.
- No. 2 Patrick Glory (125 lb) is a former NCAA finalist, three-time All-American, and two-time first-team All-Ivy and is currently undefeated this season for Princeton. His match this Sunday will be the first this season that includes a top-15 opponent.
- No. 4 Quincy Monday currently holds a 9-0 record and most recently defeated No.5 Dean Hamiti of Wisconsin in the Midlands Championships in a 4-3 decision. He looks to continue to stay alive on Sunday.
- Princeton and ASU have faced just once before. The Tigers defeated ASU 20-18 at Princeton, despite wins from Michael McGee, Kyle Parco, Jacori Teemer, Anthony Valencia and Cohlton Schultz.
