PRINCETON, N.J. – A career-high of 33 points by Remy Martin and game-winning three by Khalid Thomas helped the Arizona State men's basketball team (4-2) fight back to beat Princeton (0-5) 67-65 Tuesday night.
Martin shot 13-23 for the game and scored 23 points in the second half to keep Arizona State in the game and eventually pull off the win. Thomas was the team's second-highest scorer, scoring 14 points and hitting two clutch threes, one that gave ASU the win.
ASU is 6-2 (.750) in out-of-conference road games under Bobby Hurley, after going 8-22 (.267) in its previous 30 efforts.

The Sun Devils put themselves in a hole early on in the game, after Remy Martin scored all eight points to be within one, Princeton went on a 9-0 run to take a double-digit lead and kept it until a 6-0 run by Arizona State cut the lead to five points heading into halftime.
With momentum from the end of the first half, Arizona State started much stronger in the second. Back-to-back threes by Martin and Thomas cut Princeton's lead to two points. Then, an open three for Elias Valtonen put ASU up 37-36, their first lead of the game.
Martin continued to build ASU's lead, hitting a three for his 20th point and putting Arizona State up seven points.
However, Princeton did not falter, tying the game at 46 and then took back the lead on a three. As Princeton was starting to run away again, but Martin scored nine straight points for ASU to go up 61-60 with 3:24 left in the game.
The teams continued to battle it down to the wire as the Sun Devils were down by a point with 15 seconds left in the game until Martin dished it off to Thomas in the corner for a three that would seal Princeton's fate.
Arizona State continues on with their away schedule, heading off to play the University of San Francisco next Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Net.
NOVEMBER TOUGH: Not many have been better early than the Sun Devils in the past three seasons, as they are 16-2 the past three seasons. Also worth a darn: the win list includes five teams that would eventually make NCAA Tournament that same season.
