FLAGSTAFF – Derrick Monroe jumped himself into the Sun Devil record book along with several other Devils at Friday's Lumberjack Team Invitational in Flagstaff.

Monroe won the long jump competition for the second-straight week, this time with a personal best mark of 7.60m/24-11.25 feet. His jump put him at the top of the MPSF, 12th in the NCAA and ninth in school history.

Both Cole Riddle and Matthew Eckles cleared 5.32m/17-5.5 feet to jump to the top of the conference in the pole vault. For 2017 Pac-12 champion Eckles, the clearance was a personal best that put the senior at fourth in Sun Devil history. Riddle matched his indoor personal best, and the duo are tied at 11 on the NCAA descending order list.

Riddle's win came after sophomore Tommi Hintnaus picked up a win while Julianna Park finished second in the women's pole vault, both with marks of 3.70m/12-4 feet.

In the ring, Beatrice Llano's Sun Devil debut included a win in the weight throw and the seventh-best mark in school history. While she won the event (19.50m/63-11.75), All-American Kaylee Antill took fourth.

Samantha Noennig inched closer to Sarah Stevens on the school record list when she launched an NCAA-leading 17.81m/58-5.25 in the shot put. Noennig and UCLA's Alyssa Wilson are the only underclassmen with marks in the top-10 in the country, and both sophomores hold the top-two spots.

On the track, the sprints group had a big day thanks to impressive outings from newcomers.

Kentre Patterson dashed his way to fifth in Sun Devil history in just his first race as a Sun Devil. He clocked an 8.13 and took second in the 60-meter hurdles. Alexandra Williams also moved into the top-10 in the hurdles on the women's side with her altitude-adjusted 8.63, good for ninth in school history.

Austin Kratz finished second in the 60-meter dash in 6.81 seconds, and Devin Cadena finished in fourth in 6.93 seconds. Cadena came back in the 200 and put up a 22.67.

Freshman Nia Brown followed up her breakout week one with another solid performance in the 60-and 200-meter dashes. Brown finished second in the 200 in 24.59 seconds and finished third in the fastest event on the track in 7.56 seconds.

After back-to-back trips to Flagstaff, the Sun Devils will split up and head out of the state to compete in meets in Seattle, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Lubbock, Texas.
