BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – For the second year in a row, Arizona State gymnastics had 13 student-athletes earn Scholastic All-America honors from the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA), as announced on Monday.
In addition to individual honors in the 2018-19 school year, the team's GPA of 3.6122 is ranked No. 19 in the nation. The 13 Scholastic All-Americans is the most by any Pac-12 team and the team GPA is second in the conference behind Washington (3.6786). ASU also tied last year's program record of WCGA Scholastic All-Americans.
The Gym Devils had an outstanding season in the classroom as well as in the gym. Nine earned Pac-12 All-Academic nods, including Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year Anne Kuhm. The senior also earned 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America Third Team honors, the first Gym Devil to be an academic All-American since 1998. Both Belkoff and Udowitch have earned NCAA post-graduate scholarships as well.
Corinne Belkoff, Justine Callis, Jessica Ginn, Morgan Hart, Anne Kuhm, Ashley Szafranski, Kaitlyn Szafranski, Heather Udowitch and Morgan Wilson all earned Pac-12 and WCGA honors. Belkoff, Lentz and Udowitch have made the list in all four seasons of their careers. There are also three first-timers: Kaitlin Harvey, Mekayla Jones and Maya Williams.

Overall, there were 31 teams and more than 56 percent of student-athletes maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or more on a 4.0 scale. A record number of student-athletes, 125 (8.91%), recorded a 4.0 GPA.
