- Competed in five sports while at Westerville North High School (track and field, cross country, football, wrestling, and lacrosse).
- Part of the 2013 Ohio State Champion 4x800 relay team.
- New Balance DMR Champions.
- Set the 4x800m school record and the DMR state record at 10:07.
Personal: Son of Paul and Becky Chatel … has one sister, Teresa (16) … avid movie watcher … pursing a major in electrical engineering at ASU.
