- Put together two top-15 finishes in first three races of season
- Transferred to Arizona State
2014 - Competed four times during her junior year for the Bruins ... Finished with a time of 21:58 at the Pac-12 Championships (6k) ... Placed second overall at the Titan Invitational (5k) with a time of 18:04.1 … Opened the season in 34th at the Nevada Twilight Classic (4k) with a time of 16:30 … Was 18th at the Dual at the Rose Bowl (5k) with a time of 18:59.
2013 - Competed in five races during her sophomore year for the Bruins … Clenched a third place finish at the Titan Invitational with a 5k time of 17:34.3 … Came in ninth at the Mustang Challenge with a time of 18:33.36 … Ran a season best 6k time of 22:31.92 at the Dual at the Rose Bowl for a sixth place finish … Finished 93rd at the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 25:48.
2012 - Placed 104th (23:58) at the Pac-12 Championships ... UCLA’s No. 1 runner at the Bronco Invite (17:55.5) ... Finished seventh (19:47) in the open division (5k) at the Pac-12 Preview.
2011 - Did not compete ... Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

Earned her degree in Political Science and Environmental Systems & Societies from UCLA... adding on major in higher education while at ASU... a part of the National and Spanish Honor Society as well as Habitat for Humanity... Parents are Jeff Owen and Lourdes Paragas Owen... has an older brother, James... she likes to eat and cook, and will be found cleaning when stressed out.
