Men's Golf Tied for Fifth at Oregon Duck Invitational

Eugene, Ore. - The Arizona State men's golf team is tied for fifth place after the first two rounds of the 2007 Oregon Duck Invitational. ASU shot a 14-over 590 (294-296) to tie for fifth place with the University of Arizona. USC is currently in first place after shooting 1-over par in the first two rounds.

Individually, freshman Knut Borsheim shot an even-par 144 (70-74) to tie for fourth place. Senior All-American Niklas Lemke shot a 1-over 145 (70-75) to tie for seventh place. Sophomore All-American Benjamin Alvarado Holley is tied for 23rd after shooting a 5-over 149 (75-74). Senior Fredrik Andersson shot an 8-over 152 (79-73) to tie for 46th. Freshman James Dalthorp III is in 61st place after shooting a 14-over 158 (81-77). Junior Phil Telliard shot a 16-over 160 (85-75).

The final round of the 2007 Oregon Duck Invitational concludes tomorrow at the par-72, 7,2033-yard Eugene Country Club.
