Tempe, Ariz. - The ninth ranked Arizona State men's golf team heads instate to Tucson, Ariz. to compete in the 2006 National Invitational Tournament held March 26-28 at the par 72, 7,094-yard Omni Tucson National Golf Club.
The 54-hole event, hosted by the University of Arizona, will consist of 18 holes played each day beginning on Sunday March 26.
Competing for ASU will be freshman Benjamin Alvarado Holley, junior Niklas Lemke, senior Alejandro Canizares, senior Lenny Park and freshman Erik Coover. Freshman Steele DeWald and sophomore Phil Telliard will be competing as individuals.
The field for the tournament includes: Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Fresno State, Kent State, Minnesota, New Mexico, Pepperdine, Texas Christian, Tulsa, UCLA, UNLV, USC and Washington.
