Played in 12 games, starting nine...honored with the Tim Landers Iron Man Award for excellence in the Sun Devil weightroom...named Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts against Oregon State on October 12, where he had five tackles, three for losses totaling 27 yards, and the key defensive play of the game, sacking Beavers quarterback Derek Anderson for a 17-yard loss on the final play of the game with OSU threatening to score...registered 39 tackles on the year, 17 solo efforts...had seven tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, four fumble recoveries and two interceptions...his four fumble recoveries were tied for the most in the Pac-10...returned an interception 21 yards for a touchdown against UCF.

2001:

Was kickoff specialist for the Sun Devils...helped ASU's kickoff team limit opponents to an average of 18.9 yards a return, which was third best in the Pac-10...all his kickoffs in the Holiday Bowl, which included two touchbacks, were fielded no further out than the opponents' three-yard line, which helped to limit Kansas State's dynamic kick return game to a total of 60 yards.
