ASU: Competing at tight end with Frank Maddox and Lee Burghgraef...improved as a blocker and a pass receiver as the 2001 season progressed. 2001: Played in all 11 games, starting five of them...caught nine passes for 158 yards...caught a 23-yard touchdown pass versus Washington...made season-long 34-yard receptions two times, against San Jose State and Oregon State. 2000: Played in all 12 games behind All-American Todd Heap...started in four games in a two tight end set...made six receptions for 100 yards...his longest reception of the season was a 28-yard grab vs. Utah State...pulled in nine-yard reception vs. UCLA...had 26-yard grab vs. California...blocked a field goal vs. Washington and later blocked a point-after attempt in the second overtime of the USC game...turned in a 16-yard reception vs. Oregon and a 12-yarder vs. USC...finished the season off by pulling in a nine-yard pass in the Aloha Bowl. 1999: Appeared in eight games, totaling six tackles...tallied a career-high three tackles against New Mexico State...had a tackle for loss and picked off a pass on a zone blitz against USC, returning it 35 yards to the four yard-line in the fourth quarter. 1998: Redshirted.
