BERKELEY, Calif. – No. 5 Sun Devil Water Polo closed out the 2026 season with a fifth-place finish at the MPSF Championships on Sunday afternoon following a split in the weekend's contests. Despite Sunday's loss, senior attacker Millie Quin made MPSF history, becoming the conference's all-time leading scorer after five goals against Indiana to reach 295 in her career.

Arizona State opened tournament play against No. 4 Cal on Friday, falling in a close contest, 14-12, ending the team's NCAA Tournament hopes.

In what turned out to be the final game of her collegiate career, Quin surpassed San Jose State's Rae Lekness for the all-time scoring record in MPSF history during Arizona State's matchup against Indiana. She delivered five goals on the day, sealing the record with a dramatic score in the final 30 seconds of the game.

The milestone adds to an already remarkable legacy. Quin now holds three of the program's most prestigious records: MPSF all-time leading scorer, Sun Devil all-time leading scorer, and Sun Devil all-time leader in points.
