The Sun Devil men's golf team, fresh off a win at the Fighting Illini Invitational last weekend, took a condensed lineup to the Sept. 28-29 Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational Presented by Charles Schwab this week, but for good reasons.
Senior Fifa Laopakdee and sophomore transfer Nguyen Anh Minh are competing in the Asian Games, while sophomores Boston Bracken and Bowen Mauss will be playing in the PGA Tour's Bank of Utah Championship (Oct. 1-4) in Irvins.
Last week
Oscar Couilleau tied for sixth at the Illini Invitational with a 10-under 196 that included an 8-under 62 in his first round which helped ASU to the team victory.
