TEMPE – Sun Devil Gymnastics alumna Gracie Reeves is coming back to Arizona State, this time as an assistant coach to round out the staff.
“I’m so excited to announce that Gracie is our new assistant coach and I’m thrilled to have her back with the program,” said head coach Jay Santos. “She brings so much positive energy, drive and a competitive fire that I believe our current team will embrace and thrive off of!”
A native of Phoenix, Reeves competed for the Sun Devils from 2020-24 and was a consistent presence across all four events throughout her time in Tempe. Reeves missed just two meets in her entire career and competed in the all-around 11 times over her five years. In her freshman year, she was named All-Pac 12 in the all-around.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in sports law and business, both from Arizona State.
Since wrapping up her collegiate career, she has gained work experience outside of gymnastics. She interned with the X Games before working with the Arizona Diamondbacks in the marketing department.
Her ties within the Valley run deep. She attended Sunnyslope High School and trained at Arizona Sunrays.
Her parents are Thad and Melissa, and she has one older sister, Maddy.
