BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 5 Sun Devil Water Polo closed out the regular season on a high note Friday morning, defeating No. 10 Indiana 15-13 in a back-and-forth MPSF conference matchup.

The Sun Devils (24-5, 2-4) battled the Hoosiers (15-8, 1-5) through all four quarters before pulling away for the two-goal victory, bringing their conference record to .500 heading into the MPSF Conference Championships.

Seven Sun Devil student-athletes recorded multiple points in the contest. Freshman attacker Maci Magee led the team with five points on two goals and three assists, while fellow freshman Dominika Kardos added four points on two goals and two assists. Freshman attacker Jelena Butic, attacker Laura Kardos, utility Miya Tirosh, senior center Sophie Shorter-Robinson, and graduate center Nioka Thomas each also tallied multiple points on the afternoon.
