NORMAN, Okla. – Sun Devil Wrestling fell to No. 18 Oklahoma on Sunday at McCasland Field House, losing 31-9.

Arizona State took three wins during the match against Oklahoma (10-4), with No. 14 redshirt sophomore Nicco Ruiz (165 lb.) and No. 20 redshirt freshman Pierson Manville (141 lb.) adding to their win records and junior An’ee Vigil (125 lb.) taking an upset win. 

Manville improved to 16-5 on the season with his 2-0 decision, and Ruiz moved to 18-5 after his 8-2 win. Vigil took his dual to overtime tied 1-1 before picking up a three-point takedown to clinch the dual, giving him his 10th win of the season.

The Sun Devils (3-11) return home for their next match against Cal Baptist on Friday, Feb. 13, at 6:30 p.m. MST at Desert Financial Arena.
