FEDERAL WAY, WASH. – Sun Devil Swim and Dive won five more titles Friday night at day four of the Big 12 Swim and Dive championships. Graduate Caroline Bentz set a new school record in the 100 back in 51.22, and Ilya Kharun won the 200 fly in 1:39.41 to sweep the butterfly events in Federal Way, Washington to creep the Sun Devils closer to a third striaght conference championship. The women's team extended their lead to 283.5 points as the men's team holds a 365.5 lead.

Lane Stallworth placed fourth on the platform diving competition with 329.70 points scoring 26 points for the men's team. He qualifed for the 1m and 3m diving finals earlier in the week and participated in the team competition on Tuesday.

Deniz Ertan started the night for the Sun Devils by winning the women's 200 fly title setting a personal best in 1:54.92. Ilya Kharun cruised his way to another Big 12 title for the men's team, clocking in a swift 1:39.41, while Filip Send-Samardzic was fourth in 1:42.84.

Iza Adame was the top Sun Devil in the 100 breast dropping a 59.63 for fifth place. Andy Dobrzanski claimed the men's 100 breast title in 51.75 for the Sun Devils.

Caroline Bentz broke the school record clocking in a 51.22 winning time in the 100 backstroke, as Miriam Sheehan was 6th in 53.31. For the men's 100 back the Sun Devil men placed first and second, with Jack Wadswroth winning in 45.01 and Lucien Vergnes placing 2nd in 45.46.

The women's 200 free relay team had a runner up finish to claim the silver medal in 1:28.57. The men's 200 free relay team had won the gold that would have set a Big 12 record, however it was deemed that a swimmer left the blocks early forcing a disqualification.
