Opening Statement:
"I'm pleased. It's another hit meet. It's moving in a positive direction. I think we've just got to continue to work on a couple of details. Obviously, we would like to finish floor a little bit stronger and just get over that 197 mark. But we did way more right tonight than we did wrong. I think the team is still building and we've been hitting that high 196 mark for about four or five weeks and I feel, in any of these meets, we haven't completely maxed out. So it's just a matter of, we just gotta do it at this point. But I think for the first three rotations we did it really well. They had great energy, they looked really within themselves. Like I said, I'm not going to lament a high 196 because it's a good score. I think we're just capable of a little bit more."
On freshman Halle Gregoire's floor routine:
"She's been kind of building on that. This is by far the most complete routine she has had. Both landings were there, everything was there. She's a very powerful dynamic gymnast. We know that, it's just a matter of her building her confidence, locking into that moment. She's capable of that on any given night and hopefully we can just keep tapping into that and she can just settle in and trust in her given power that she has. I think she's capable of that and even a little bit more. It's like I said, she's like a lot of them, all year she has been continuing to work on those little moments and work on those details and it all came together tonight."
On graduate Hannah Scharf being nominated for the AAI Award:
"It's great recognition. Those awards like that are always amazing. I think it just shows who she's been and what she's been for this program for a really long time. She's in year five, she's been a rock, and not just a rock, but she's been a dynamo for us. So many high scoring meets and everything else. I just think it's always great recognition to get into that class of athlete in your sport. Congratulations to her. It's amazing."
Freshman Halle Gregoire
On her career-high floor routine:
"It was really big for me to go out there and do what I've been training and practicing and finally just putting it all together. It's good to have that one routine under me. I've had all these 9.850s and I finally got over that hump, which is huge for me. After I landed the first pass, I knew that's what I needed for the last pass and I was like, 'yeah, this is gonna be the one.'"
On the pre-performance routine with teammates and coaches:
"The coaches come up to me and then tell me to trust your training, you've done the numbers, you've done the reps, it's no difference. Go out there and do what, you know, how to do."
Senior Sarah Clark
On her beam performance:
"It felt really good. I've been practicing on the little details during practice, the landings, the leaps, the pointed toes and it's all good to just finally put it all together today out there. I just need to keep doing that to move forward and continue."
On getting close to a 197+ final score:
"We keep talking about the details, but at this point, that really is all it is. Today we were just one routine short and if we had that one routine, we would have gone over that 197 mark. It's really just fine tuning those details and finding that one last routine that we need. And it's that simple honestly."

A strong lead off 9.875 from senior Mangahas got the Maroon and Gold going in the first rotation. Reeves and Theodorou also scored 9.875s, while Hannah Scharf and Anaya Smith put a pair of 9.850s on the board.
